What’s a QR code?

GiftcodeQRTest2

QR stands for quick response code, you will have seen squares of dots or blocks appearing in magazines, on hoardings, on product packs. They are read with a ‘QR scanner’ App in your smartphone or tablet and the information in them translated to an action. In the case of i-piggy, they are used on Member and Partner cards and for collectable points. i-piggy Apps read the details and direct to the locations of i-piggy member details and points.

Can I earn i-piggy points from on-line transactions

Yes, if you have paid a Partner on-line, you will receive your points automatically or receive a code to claim any points given on the transaction.

Can I create a charity account to collect i-piggy points?

Yes, i-piggy is ideal for collecting points for a charity as many members can contribute their points to the account. As administrator of the account though, you will need to complete a separate charity application form which will be vetted before being set-up. Note that charity accounts are also eligible to receive bonus points.

Will my i-piggy points ever expire?

Points registered on a card account that has not been used for 24 months will be considered as expired and will be transferred into the fund for redistribution to junior and charity accounts as bonus point. However, you will be sent an email reminder in advance to give you the opportunity to use or donate them yourself.

Why do I need to register my points card?

You can start collecting points on your card as soon as you have one but you need to register with i-piggy and assign you card before you can use or donate your points as we need to know who you are and how to contact you.

I have an i-piggy card for my town – but can I use it anywhere?

You can use your i-piggy card to earn points anywhere you see the logo displayed. Obviously, we encourage you to use your local town centre with great offers but you can use in other towns and cities.

If I lose my card will I lose my points?

No, if you lose your card, let us know. Get another card, assign it to yourself and we will transfer the old points balance to your new one.

If I lost my card could someone steal or spend my points?

No, your card is assigned to you, only you can transfer away your points. And, when you spend your points at a partner outlet you have to supply a PIN number which is disabled after several attempts

I don’t have a smartphone or tablet device – can I still use my i-piggy card?

Of course, partners can still put points on your card (and spend) and you can ask a partner to tell you the balance or you can check them on the web. What you will miss out on are the search and locate latest offers when you are on the move. But the local scheme manager (ISM) may have arranged to display latest offers on a screen in a local shop window.

Why do i-piggy cards vary in appearance so much?

Because i-piggy is organised by town schemes and cards can be styled in the local imagery – but they all function in the same way.

Using my i-piggy points
